Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a growing health concern that affects millions of patients worldwide. NASH is often a silent disease with limited obvious symptoms at an early stage. Many patients remaining asymptomatic resulting in few patients actively seeking treatment. The public health implications of this disease have driven research and investment toward diagnostics and treatments, but many challenges remain in finding NASH patients for clinical trials.
