  • This study features a novel cross-site multiplex IHC panel study performed at Akoya Biosciences and NeoGenomics Laboratories.
  • Average signal intensity for all markers /Opal fluorophores was within recommended range indicating the protocol stained successfully and reproducibly across all serial sections at both sites.
  • The study establishes that the PhenoImager™ HT at NeoGenomics provides a reliable assay that can be run across different sites.
  • Re-optimization of the panel can be successfully adapted to other cancer types to capture biological differences across a multitude of samples.

Dr. Pollan is a level III Scientist and Scientific Supervisor within the Multiplexed Immunofluorescence Pharma department at NeoGenomics. Her work focuses on successful optimization and validation of custom multiplex IF panels using the PhenoImager™ HT platform. She earned her Ph.D. in Translational Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Masters in Biomedical Science at UC Irvine. Dr. Pollan has been featured in the journal Oncogene for discovering a new mechanism used by circulating tumor cells to evade immune detection.
