The Spatial Biology Congress: Asia

Co-hosted with

Following the success of the International Spatial Biology Congress held in The Netherlands, we are delighted to be hosting a meeting in Asia in November 2023.

Spatial biology is an emerging field that has a wide range of applications, from basic research into fundamental biological processes to the development of novel drugs and therapies for diseases.

With a single track over two days, featuring more than 20 presentations, you will learn about the latest developments in the field, hear about novel research, and explore how the fusion of technologies is aiding the discovery of novel therapeutic approaches. There will also be a vibrant exhibition room full of spatial technology providers and other solutions, incisive Q&A panel discussion, and an opportunity to connect with the key leaders in the field.

  • Learn the advantages of integrating spatial data and imaging techniques in translational research
  • Understand the importance of spatial data and its quality
  • Ample networking opportunities with the industry leaders in the field

Breakfast workshop

Title: Imaging Mass Cytometry – Visualize spatial biology, confidently

This breakfast workshop will be held on Day 2 of the Spatial Biology Congress: Asia 2023 (8th November 2023 at 7:40-8.40am)

  • Use Standard Biotools Imaging Mass Cytometry (IMC) platform – Hyperion Tissue Imaging (HTI) system to generate spatial data
  • Discover how researcher use IMC to reveal phenotype and tissue cell interactions
  • With HTI, user can visualise cells precisely to understand disease progression and therapeutic outcomes
  • IMC enables researchers to generate multiplex data quickly and confidently, which helps overcoming common imaging limitations

Event App
We have reduced waste by replacing printed documentation with an app. Make sure you have it downloaded to your devices in time for the meeting. Get Agorify on Google Play and Apple App Store.

You will have some great food choices while you are with us but now we have worked with the caterer to increase the proportion of plant-based items. We have also built a plan with the venue to avoid waste through how they serve meals and how any leftovers are processed. Our aim is that you have some great meals, whilst with us, but with less environmental impact by the time you leave.

An international meeting does involve travel but where it is practical, please consider more sustainable alternatives to flying. The app will also have a discussion space to arrange ride shares.
