In celebration of International Women’s Day on the 8th March, Global Engage is pleased to present a series of blog posts this week, showcasing the work of several key women in the field of science. The theme for this years’ International Women’s Day is ‘Press for Progress’ so we caught up with Patricia Silveyra, a full-time Assistant Professor at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, to discuss what she thinks needs to be done to achieve gender equality for women in science.
